Magnificent and unique reformed property.
The house of Brastet, known as ‘la casa fuertificada de Unha' is located at the entrance of the town of the same name (Unha.) It was built in 1580 by brothers Mateu and Gaspar Blanc for the protection of Aranese in that century. This wonderful castle is a unique specimen in the Aran Valley, which has been totally restored preserving its natural and historical charm. Inside the castle it is possible to find unique original pieces from the 16th century, particularly the antique furniture, a beautiful stone fireplace and the impressive Renaissance windows.
The property offers, among other things, a large plot of land of approx. 5.000sqm, in which we find a rustic house of 135sqm and the large fortified house of 500sqm all surrounded by a natural environment with a vast meadow brimming with trees and flowers. The fortified house has 4 floors in which we can find 9 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and two large and cozy living rooms used for different purposes. The house also offers a large dining room with fireplace and a spacious kitchen with pantry. Also it is necessary to emphasize its wonderful location in the entrance of the town that gives incredible views and a proximity of only 4.5 km to the prestigious Baqueira-Beret ski station.
The Castell de Brastet, rich in history, is an opportunity to own the past and be part of its future.
